gpLinguagem was consolidated in 2004, although had been born some years before, always associated to UERJ´s Graduate Program in Education, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Since then, this research group has been reinventing itself throughout each new cycle of investigations, searching for appropriate answers to such obstacles affecting Brazilian public policies of literacy. Not seldom, people ask us “What´s your theoretic doctrines?” – Ours, of course. What´s a research group for, if it doesn´t sign it´s own paradigims?
